Giving to Earth Share of Michigan
EarthShare
of Michigan is a 501c3 tax exempt organization. All donations are tax
deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.
Here's how you can support the environment through EarthShare of Michigan (ESMI):
- Your Workplace Giving Program
More than 300 workplaces in Michigan now partner with EarthShare of Michigan to offer employees an environmental choice in their annual workplace giving campaign. Employees can check with their payroll offices or with ESMI to determine if they have the option to contribute to ESMI. A list of participating workplaces can be found here. If your workplace already partners with ESMI, you'll just need to fill out a pledge form when your campaign runs!
If your workplace does not have a giving program, or does not include EarthShare in an existing one, you can help introduce us to your employer! Contact us for more information today.
- Giving Through Your United Way Campaign
If your workplace offers a United Way giving drive and your local United Way does not include EarthShare or its members in its list of charities, find out if your campaign has a write-in option. Many United Ways will allow you to designate your donation to any tax-exempt charity. If yours does, write "EarthShare of Michigan" in the space provided on your United Way pledge card, along with our address -- "P.O. Box 363, 6380 Drumheller Road, Bath, Michigan 48808-0363."
- Federal and State of Michigan Employees
EarthShare of Michigan has been approved for participation in the
campaigns for federal government employees (CFC) and the State of Michigan
Government Employees Charitable Campaigns (SECC). The designation code
for Combined Federal Campaigns is 67257. The designation code for the
State Employee Charitable Campaign is TT22.
- A Personal Donation
You can also choose to give by personal check. Just print a copy of our pledge form and complete the three easy steps. ESMI allows donors the unique option of making one gift (to be shared among all member organizations) or designating a pledge to one or more ESMI member organizations.
